Changes of Name or Gender

You can informally adopt a new name at any time and for any reason (so long as you’re not attempting to deceive or defraud anyone), and you can identify yourself with any gender or none. This will not affect public records or the way you are formally addressed in Æfira. If you wish to change your officially recorded name or gender, you will need to make an application to the Registrar General’s Office.
